Coral Coloured Weddings

Lately this summer, I have seen the colour of Coral for bridesmaids a lot in weddings. This colour doesn't always mean 'under the sea' as many may think for a theme but it just looks nice I do suppose. As I wouldn't personally choose this colour for my wedding, maybe you might like it as it is extremely popular right now. The colour of Coral in a 'dark' or 'deep' shade is what many are choosing lately. I have passed by a wedding once when traveling to see a wedding crowd in the Coral shade. Below is one wedding of people that I know that recently got married in the past month this summer. ( Sad thing is though I never attended their wedding, I just got the pictures from Facebook.)

The dresses the bridesmaids are wearing are a 'bright' but 'deep' Coral shade and look so good with the gems and sequins that are decorating the top of the gowns.
Here are some other pictures I pulled from the Internet. What do you think? Would you choose Coral for your wedding? Let us know in the comments!

This colour is so summery and is perfect for a wedding outdoors. There are many styles as you all know for bridesmaids dresses and both long or short bridesmaids dresses with this colour can look good with your style of gown. Colours do matter when you want your gown to show. This colour makes the wedding 'warm' and doesn't take too much away from the 'glow' or 'shine' of the bride. Such a happy colour for a wedding this colour is! :)

By the way, you don't have to have your wedding near a beach to wear this colour (but you probably knew that!) Just have it where you want because this colour is a magnificant shade for any place during the summer.
I hope you enjoy this post and enjoy your summer! -Khaki :)

What to Wear on the Beach for Men

Yes, our blog is for everyone which in this case, extends to men as well! Let's begin with our first post for men's fashion! :)

Okay so, men need to know sometime what to wear to the beach too. They want to know what is in style and what makes them look trendy just as much as women do when they are headed to the beach. Men and the way they dress does matter in society. If you are a single man looking for a woman, then this is a quick guide for you. Being single and finding the right girl doesn't just begin at the 'flirting stage,' it also starts with dressing in the appropriate attire for the appropriate occasion. Even at the beach, a man needs to look their best. Even though they may look sexy with a six pack or something to that degree, they still should come looking good in clothing because not all 'skin-wear' can look attractive. If you follow what is being said here, you should understand that you do not go around all your life in your birthday suit. Sorry but unless you live in a nudist colony (which I have nothing against by the way), you should look both attractive in clothing as well as in your skin. If you forgot already, I am talking to men here but some of this stuff is the same for women. Anyway, married men should follow this too because they shouldn't be too revealing. In this sense, if you don't want attraction from other women and you are married with kids or even without, then wear clothing that doesn't say, 'stare at me...' Wear stuff that makes you comfortable yet covered up. You will want to be dressed to your best even at an event such as the beach.

Enough of the pep talk for now, let's move on...

What to Wear on the Beach

What to Wear on the Beach by kryptonitesmile featuring Oakley

Here are some really good styling options that are modern for the Summer of 2014 for men.

Many men's swim trunks today are long and are either printed or solid in colour. Some short swim trunks are in style too but one that is able to cover at least below the the new is what is being worn today. Being a woman, I personally like the look of longer swim trunks on a male. They just look more decent from my perspective. And again, you can add a 'baseball top' with your swim trunk look or a 'skater top' which looks good as well. Accessories such as glasses look amazing. They just add that beachy vibe along with your look whether you are on the beach or not. And footwear, this is important. If you are headed to the beach, you do not need to wear just sandals. Tennis shoes or manly sneakers are perfect if you pair them up just right. Shoes don't really matter actually when you are on the beach because you take them off either way usually. Just pair some footwear with your look is all I'm trying to say here!

So, I had a lot to type for you men and some women out there but there is so much to say. I forgot half the things I was going to say to you all but I forgot so you can take a deep breath and sigh of relief! LOL! I hope this helps you for the beach.

Have fun and enjoy the beach now! :D

Style finder look #5

Who said monochrome had to be boring? (Not me)

Technically it's not black and white with the daring canary yellow blazer. It would work well with a white one also. It's a very retro look that any body type can pull off. The skirt is a fabulous staple in a wardrobe/closet. This is for the simplicity of it and how you can change it up and style it for every occasion, formal, work to casual days.
Hats are becoming fashionable again from fedoras to floppy sunhats like the large black one. I often feel good in a hat and like it completes an outfit. The one in this look is very boho and summery.

Here are other hats of similar styling: (ideas of how to wear them)

This is a cute casual style for those who find dresses not for them. Shorts and jumper/baggy top look with dramatic shades. Looks very Vogue to me.

Another way to wear the hats is with a fun printed cotton pants. I've seen this style rock up loads for spring and summer warmer weather. A perfect look for covering up legs but, keeping cool too. These pants come in a huge variety of prints and colours and are creative looking. From leaves to zigzags etc...

This outfit is really romantic for warm weather. You can pair a floppy hat with any dress to be honest. Floral ones are just extra girly and  with spring feeling about it. Hats add a touch of glamour and sophistication. I see a great outfit for a bbq or picnic right there. You can style these hats by adding flowers and ribbon bands. Try matching the dress or part of outfit colour or fabric print... e.g. if you shorten a dress and have fabric remaining...decorate the sun hat with it.

How to Look Great in a Pencil Skirt

The Pencil Skirt was a hit a few years ago, but today you can still make the pencil skirt look great! Solid and bright, bold colours make the skirt one to wear today. It is quite a simple look yet it shows positivity and is just calling for some fun!

The Vibrant Pencil Skirt: 1) Cobalt Pencil Skirt, Glamorous; 2) Mint Sequin Pencil Skirt,Topshop; 3) Tomato Leather Zip Detail Skirt, Miss Selfridge; 5) Yellow Asymmetric Peplum Skirt,River Island. For more, visit: www.femside.com
Pencil skirts in vibrant colours are fun to wear! Brighten up any dull office day. Just look at those colours. How bright and fun!
Unlike the Skater Skirt for 2014, the Pencil Skirt should be styled, 'solid with solid.' Pair a solid top with your solid skirt and add a cute clutch and necklace in addition.

These skirts are really jolly to wear and I can't wait to try one for the spring/summer season! As I figure out a shirt to pair with my skirt, maybe I will link a picture in the comments of myself and my look. So, be sure to stay tuned!
